The community of Brgy. Hinactacan continues to nurture spaces where residents can learn, share, and grow together. The weekly Life Talk sessions, facilitated by Sir Oscar Robles, have become one of the most anticipated activities in the area — drawing a consistent group of 15–20 mothers and one lolo who gather each week for open discussions and meaningful exchanges.
What started as a small group has gradually expanded, welcoming new attendees almost every week. The sessions have become a venue where participants feel heard and valued, as they reflect on everyday experiences, learn from one another, and strengthen their sense of belonging. Many mothers have expressed how the sessions help them manage stress, gain confidence, and build stronger relationships within their families and community.
Facilitator Sir Oscar ensures that each session remains engaging and inclusive, often encouraging participants to share their thoughts and stories. The growing consistency and enthusiasm among attendees show how much they appreciate having a regular activity that supports their personal growth and emotional well-being.
Alongside the Life Talk, a music class has also been running in the same area. The class now has 12 consistent students, most of them children and youth, who attend weekly to explore their interest in music. Through fun and interactive lessons, they learn basic techniques, rhythm, and teamwork — while also discovering music as a form of self-expression and joy.
Both activities have brought new energy to Brgy. Hinactacan. The community has become more connected, with parents, youth, and elders finding ways to learn and enjoy time together. These efforts continue to show how regular community-led programs can create lasting impact — not only by building skills, but also by strengthening relationships and promoting a shared sense of purpose.
