STRENGTH IN STRUGGLES: DAISY'S GOSCHOLAR JOURNEY
JUNE 2025
"My name is Daisy Ann Grace Delos Santos. On June 27, 2025, I officially graduated. This moment isn't just a milestone it's a testimony of the challenges I've overcome, the lessons I've learned, and the growth I've experienced, I look back on my journey with deep gratitude to GoScholar, to those who supported me, and above all, to God, who guided me through every challenge.
Before receiving the scholarship, life was difficult. Losing a parent was incredibly painful for me, especially because she was my greatest inspiration throughout my journey in education. When my mother passed away, it felt like my world completely fell apart. I reached a point where I wanted to give up, to stop studying, and to let go of the dream I had carried for so long. But in the center of my pain, Kuya Ian (GoScholar Alumnus) was there. He never left my side, he continued to support me, gave me strength, and made sure I had everything I needed for school. Through his love and sacrifice. And also, I faced There are days when I go to school without any allowance, no food, and sometimes even the courage to keep going seems to disappear. I reached a point where I asked myself if I should still continue studying. I feel exhausted, like everything is just too heavy. I have moments of uncertainty that tested my faith and made me question if my dreams would ever come true. There were times when I felt lost, when the weight of circumstances made my goals seem unreachable. Yet through it all, I held onto hope, trusting that God had a plan for me, even when I couldn’t see it clearly."

"Then, everything changed. The day I became a GoScholar was more than just an opportunity it was an answered prayer. It was a reminder that even in my struggles, God was working behind the scenes, preparing a way for me to move forward. Receiving the scholarship was not only a moment of joy but a confirmation that my dreams mattered. Beyond financial assistance, GoScholar provided something even greater a community that uplifted me, mentors who guided me, and encouragement that strengthened my faith. In this journey, I learned resilience, perseverance, and the importance of serving others. I discovered new passions, developed the ability to connect with others without feeling shy. I started opening up, learning to trust. Now, I'm gradaute of Bachelor of Scienece in Entreperenuersip, I reflect on the countless blessings that have shaped me. I know that my success is not just my own it is the result of God’s grace, the kindness of those who believed in me, and the small steps that led me here. But this is just the beginning.
Using my journey and testimony to inspire others to trust in their own path, just as I did. To the sponsors, thank you for being an instrument of God’s kindness. Your generosity has changed my life, proving that even the smallest acts of giving can create great impact. To my fellow scholars, embrace your journey, even in moments of struggle. God’s plans are bigger than we can imagine, and every challenge is shaping you into the person you’re meant to be. And to future scholars, trust in your dreams and trust in God’s timing. Dream big, but never be afraid to start small. Every great journey begins with a single step, and GoScholar can be that step for you."
